Thank you for so many amazing years, Chicago. Our exclusive romance may be over, but we had an incredible run and you are still one of the greatest cities on the planet. You will always be a part of me.
I'll be back on a regular basis, I could never keep away from you. Keep an eye out for my future tour dates (or a private text from yours truly if we have been previously acquainted...) There is too much love to be had in Chicago. I'll always be back.
So where is the big move?
As much as I love the Second City, I will always be an east coast girl at heart. I was born and raised in eastern time and its calling my name. I didn't want to leave Chicago until I found somewhere that could truly compete with what it gives me. For the last 3 years, Ihave been touring nonstop. This has been incredible for making connections, romantic and professional, but it also gave me an excuse to shop around America and audition my next homebase.
And to be honest, it didn't help. I couldn't narrow it down. I want it all! And why shouldn't I have it all..?
But there happens to be one city that is very central on the east coast. Perhaps a city that is easy to commute to all other major cities in proximity. It would be very convenient to be located there, especially if you have many lovers in several zip codes. It would make a girl’s life very easy centrally located, right?
Philly, you got me in 2024. Its official. I’ll see you around.
